LRNJ MOTORWORKS DRIVE BELT CRANK PULLEY WHEEL PULLER TOOL COMPATIBLE WITH BMW MINI ONE R50 & MINI COOPER R52 FOR MODELS BETWEEN 2001-2006, PART # MPT113. Part number: MPT113 by Powerful UK Ltd. *** This tool was designed by us in house as we could not find a cost effective tool for removing the drive belt pulley wheel on our company Mini Cooper. The crank wheels can fail as they made in two parts and the rubber that forms the bond between the two parts can fail. There is very little room to get a "universal" puller in behind the pulley and it can break. The universal type tools are also very difficult to hold in position - on this tool we have added a square hole to locate a socket driver to stop the tool and crank rotating as you tighten the center bolt. The strongest place to pull on the wheel is on the three center "spokes". This tool grips in behind these to give a direct pull on the crank wheel. Supplied with the puller are 2 bolts that you need to use to remove and replace the wheel - this means you don't need to use the original bolt in the removal process which can lead to damage on the bolt. ***** Which Vehicles will this fit ? - This item WILL fit Mini One and Cooper models with the 1.6 petrol engine. - This item WILL NOT fit the SUPERCHARGED models (R53 / Cooper S). - This item WILL NOT fit the later models from 2006.
